A fribble is a trifle, frivolity, to play, fritter, totter, dabble, dawdle,
dilly-dally, twiddle, futz-around...
It all began in the New Year. I found an accidental image on my mobile,
a white streak on a black background. Forever experimenting, I took
black paper and tried to copy the image. The real thing was simply the best.
I tried still life drawing, landscapes, but found it totally uninspiring
and again you can't beat real life! With a coloured pencil I loosely,
mindlessly scribbled on the paper. A pattern started to emerge.
I continued scribbling and playing with my coloured pencils,
with a sense of relief, letting go of any expectations.
I was totally taken aback and highly surprised at what my thoughtless
meandering across paper were creating.
